"Shabab Al Ahli" striker Sardar Azmoun has been named the most valuable player of the 2024/25 UAE Premier League season and awarded the "Golden Ball".
The award ceremony for the best footballers of the past season took place in the United Arab Emirates. Azmoun, who helped "Shabab Al-Ahli" win the championship title, received the league's main individual award.
In the last season of the UAE championship, the Iranian forward of Turkmen origin played 21 matches, in which he scored 11 goals and made 6 assists. In all tournaments for "Shabab Al-Ahli", the footballer played 39 matches, scoring 26 goals and making 10 assists.
Azmoun plays for the Iranian national team and is one of the leading forwards of the national team.
