More than 300 student volunteers are providing their services at the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is currently taking place in Turkmenistan.
Volunteers provide assistance to foreign participants of the forum in various areas, including information and consulting support.
They meet foreign guests, accompany them, coordinate logistics issues, provide services for organizing meetings within the framework of the forum, and also actively introduce guests to the rich cultural heritage of the country. The large team of volunteers includes students who speak several foreign languages, more than 150 of whom are assigned to UN offices and provide assistance with organizational work, the source notes.
