President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Prime Minister of Nepal Sharma Oli, who arrived in Avaza to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
As noted, during the meeting, the Prime Minister of Nepal expressed gratitude for the hospitality and invitation, emphasizing the importance of this forum for establishing effective cooperation for the bright future of the peoples of landlocked countries. He also expressed confidence that the decisions taken within the framework of the forum will make a significant contribution to the economic development of these countries.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations with various countries, including Asian states, and declared the country's readiness to use all opportunities to develop political, diplomatic, trade and economic relations with Nepal. It was noted that both countries currently have ample opportunities to exchange experience in the fields of economics, energy, agriculture, healthcare, education and research systems.
The head of state stressed the importance of developing cultural ties between the peoples of the two countries, encouraging cooperation in the field of art and creativity, stating Turkmenistan’s readiness to support effective proposals to deepen cooperation with Nepal.
