Speakers noted the importance of multilateral partnerships between states, the private sector and international organizations to build sustainable and inclusive digital ecosystems.
A separate block of the session was devoted to issues of cross-border digital trade. During the discussions, experts emphasized the need to harmonize regulatory approaches and effectively use digital public goods in order to accelerate digital transformation in landlocked countries.
The forum participants were also presented with the Partner2Connect initiatives and the International Telecommunication Union's investment initiative in digital infrastructure.
