Young athletes from Turkmenistan are participating in the annual Commonwealth Youth Cybersport Games, the in-person stage of which opened on July 30.
The organizer of the tournament was the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "MIREA - Russian Technological University" - the basic organization of the CIS member states for work with youth. This was reported on the website of the CIS Executive Committee.
Young athletes from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, who passed the online selection round, took part in the in-person stage of the Games.
CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev sent a greeting to the organizers, participants and guests of the competition. In it, he expressed gratitude to the tournament organizers for the well-thought-out multi-level format of the Games using modern information technologies, which made it possible to bring to life one of the most accessible and popular events for the youth of the Commonwealth countries.
