The 360-degree ride at the Green Mountain Park amusement park in the Hada area near the city of At-Taif collapsed, the Khaleej Times reports.
Three victims were seriously injured. According to eyewitnesses, the ride suddenly broke in half during operation - the metal pole deflected backwards at high speed, hitting passengers on the opposite side.
Following the incident, local hospitals in Taif went on high alert. The injured were provided with medical assistance, and an investigation into the cause of the technical malfunction is underway.
