The Seydi oil refinery in the Lebap Region of Turkmenistan processed 269,4 thousand tons of oil in the first half of 2025, increasing production volumes by 21,7% compared to the same period in 2024, the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper reported.
The enterprise produced 62,7 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 127,4 thousand tons of gasoline and 12,4 thousand tons of bitumen.
Positive dynamics are also noted in other sectors of the velayat. Production of liquefied hydrocarbon gas amounted to 12 thousand tons, exceeding last year's figures by 5,4% (by 600 tons).
The "Lebap" cement plant demonstrated significant growth, doubling its capacity after the launch of the second stage in 2024. In six months, the plant produced 743,6 thousand tons of cement - 239 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In the textile industry of the velayat, the volume of production of cotton yarn reached 236,5 million manats, and sewing and textile products - 386,7 million manats.
