The draw for the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place on December 5 in Las Vegas (USA), ESPN reports.
As the publication points out, the tournament management chose Las Vegas after the applications of Canada and Mexico were rejected.
It is expected that the venue for the draw will be the “Sfera” entertainment complex, equipped with a giant screen with an area of 54 thousand square meters and capable of accommodating up to 17,5 thousand spectators.
The World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 15 to July 13, 2026. The upcoming tournament will go down in history as the first World Cup with the participation of 48 national teams.
