Yesterday, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry's activities for 7 months was held in the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues Ashyrguly Begliyev.
As reported by ussatnews.com, the meeting was opened by Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov, who oversees the industry. Then, reports were made by State Minister - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Ajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" Gurbangeldi Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the industry.
The speakers noted the particular relevance of such areas as the extraction and processing of oil and natural gas, the development of promising fields and formations, the intensification of work at the “Galkynysh” gas field, strengthening the industry's raw material base, conducting geological exploration using advanced technologies, organizing production processes taking into account weather conditions, and other important issues.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out the need for constant monitoring of the implementation of major projects in the oil and gas sector, the strict implementation of production and investment plans, and the active continuation of the construction of the Arkadag-Serkhetabad-Herat gas pipeline.
He stressed the importance of modernizing the country's fuel and energy complex in accordance with modern world standards. Priority tasks were also identified for the “Turkmengaz”, “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmengeologiya” corporations, the source notes.
