Delegates from the Turkmenbashy International Sea Port participated in the Regional Maritime Capacity Building Program, which was organized from July 21 to 25 in Kuala Lumpur by specialists from the “Klang” port.
The event aimed to strengthen cooperation and exchange scientific experience, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The port of “Klang” is one of the 10 largest container ports in the world, and during the program, Malaysian experts held seminars for participants on key areas of port activities.
The participants learned about the specifics of port planning, studied the management of loading and unloading operations in general, including the organization of logistics.
The program was attended by 29 representatives from 15 countries of Central and South Asia, as well as member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the source notes.
