The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will be held in August in “Avaza”, will be fully equipped with modern communication systems, the “Turkmenistan” newspaper reported with reference to the country's Ministry of Communications.
As noted in the article, Wi-Fi equipment has been put into operation in the “Avaza” sports complex, which was chosen to host the conference, and in the adjacent buildings, as well as in the Turkmenbashy International Airport. High-quality sound equipment has also been installed in the sports complex, and the necessary server equipment and corporate e-mail have been provided for the official website of the forum.
In order to expand the volume of dedicated Internet streams and ensure their uninterrupted operation, the necessary measures have been taken to reserve dedicated lines.
It should be noted that fiber-optic and internal communication cables have been laid in the hotels, and a Wi-Fi system has been launched. Hotel guests will be able to use the “AlemTV” service, which allows them to watch more than 200 TV channels.
The launch of 4G+ at the Turkmenbashy International Airport, along the road to the “Avaza” tourist zone and on its territory, at the venue of the international conference, in turn, will double the speed of the Internet. Foreign guests will also be able to easily purchase SIM cards and e-SIM of the “Altyn Asyr” mobile communication system. For this purpose, special customer service departments have been opened at the airport and other places.
The third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is held every 10 years, and its associated events are expected to bring together heads of state and government from 32 countries, the UN Secretary-General and his deputies, a number of international and regional organizations, financial institutions, civil society organizations, as well as leaders and representatives of the private sector.
