The sneakers of five-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Kobe Bryant, in which he played his debut game in the starting lineup of the “Los Angeles Lakers”, were sold at auction for 240 thousand USD. This was reported by the press service of the auction SCP Auctions.
Bryant was named the NBA Finals MVP twice (in 2009 and 2010) and was named the regular season MVP in 2008.
The basketball player died on January 26, 2020, in a private helicopter crash near Los Angeles along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people.
