25-year-old Turkmen defender Oraz Atayev signed a professional contract with the vice-champion of Turkmenistan, the football club "Ahal". This was reported by the press services of both teams.
Atayev played for the Russian media team Lotus Music from the Media Football League. "Today our club says goodbye to one of those players who has been with us from the very beginning: Oraz is moving to FC Ahal," the press service of Lotus Music said in a statement.

After 14 rounds of the Turkmenistan Championship, “Ahal” has 28 points and is in second place in the standings. Atayev is a graduate of the Spanish Segunda club “Lugo”. He also played for the “Leones” youth team. In 2023, the defender attended training camps with the Turkmenistan national team under the leadership of Mergen Orazov. At the beginning of 2020, he was invited to training camps by Croatian specialist Ante Miše and played a match against the Qatar youth team (under 23).
