As a result of the policy of radical reforms, the material and technical base of the textile industry is constantly being modernized, new economically efficient production facilities are being built, scientific, technical and human resources potential is being strengthened, management and marketing are being improved, and advanced methods are being introduced into the production process.
Large financial investments are directed to all segments of the textile industry - spinning, weaving, knitting and sewing production.
Products of enterprises of the industry are marked with ISO 9001 "Production management and quality control system", ISO 14001 "Environmental protection", OHSAS 18001 "Occupational health and safety" certificates and others.
Currently, high-quality, environmentally friendly textile products of the brands “Gala”, “Ýeňiş”, “Goza”, “Wada”, “Nusaý”, “Bedew”, “Bürgüt”, “Akpamyk”, “Merw”, “Jeýtun”, “Mäne” are in high demand in the domestic and foreign markets.
A significant portion of the products supplied abroad are finished goods, including home textiles, sportswear and denim clothing, manufactured under the world-famous brands “Puma”, “Wal-Mart”, “Lidl”, “Bershka”, “Pool&Bear’, “Cosco” and others.
Along with the intensive development of textile production, the country is also developing its own fashion industry. The Turkmen capital regularly hosts shows of haute couture collections, and the national school of modeling and design is successfully developing with an emphasis on creative interpretations of national artistic and decorative traditions.
