Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law increasing the validity of the single electronic visa to 120 days, and the period of stay in Russia on it to 30 days. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The provisions on the electronic visa will come into force 30 days after the official publication of the law.
In the first half of 2025, 3.2 thousand citizens of Turkmenistan received an electronic visa to Russia. This was reported to “Izvestia” on July 17 by the Russian Ambassador to the country Ivan Volynkin.
An electronic visa allows you to stay in Russia for tourist, business, humanitarian and guest purposes. It is issued on a special Internet portal of the Russian Foreign Ministry and is paid for by bank card.
The registration of an electronic visa for citizens of Turkmenistan became available in 2024.
