Spanish football club “Barcelona” has announced the loan signing of “Manchester United” striker Marcus Rashford. The announcement was made on the Catalan team's official page on the X social network.
The loan deal runs until the end of the 2025/26 season. Rashford became the first English player to join “Barcelona” since Gary Lineker, who played for the “Blaugrana” between 1986 and 1989.
The 27-year-old Englishman is a product of the “Manchester United” academy and has been playing for the main team since 2016. Last season, the forward played 41 matches and scored 11 goals, while he played the second half of the championship on loan at Aston Villa.
