President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the National Program for the Prevention of Harmful Effects of Alcohol for 2025-2028 and an action plan for its implementation, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
As reported in the document, the program was adopted “with the aim of achieving spiritual and physical health of the population, further improving the health of citizens, increasing well-being and increasing human life expectancy.”
According to the resolution, ensuring the implementation of the plan is assigned to ministries, industry departments, velayat hakimliks, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.
