The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank intends to participate in the Third Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held in Turkmenistan, in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone from August 4 to 8. The bank also plans to organize its exhibition pavilion at this event.
This was stated by the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIIB Jin Liqun during a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China P. Durdyev.
The head of AIIB expressed interest in further expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen delegation presented the AIIB President and the bank’s library with a book of selected poems by the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fragi, translated into Chinese, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
