In the 2025-2026 academic year, it is planned to admit 16 782 students to higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, and 10 879 to secondary vocational educational institutions. This was reported in the newspaper "Turkmenistan".
Applications to universities and secondary vocational educational institutions in the pedagogical, medical and cultural fields will be accepted from July 14 to 27; to secondary vocational educational institutions in the financial, economic and accounting fields – from July 14 to August 18.
In velayat centers, documents from applicants for admission to universities are accepted on the basis of the corresponding secondary schools; in higher education institutions - at the location of the universities, and in secondary vocational educational institutions - on the basis of each secondary vocational school.
According to the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country are required to organize admission to study during the period from July 14 to August 25 and conduct entrance examinations at their locations.
