Today, July 13, popular Turkmen singer, songwriter and film actor Eldar Akhmedov celebrates his birthday. The artist turned 37 years old.
Eldar Ahmedov was born in 1988 in the Hojambaz etrap of the Lebap velayat. He began his musical career in childhood - at the age of 10 he began performing at weddings and celebrations.
Over the years of his creative activity, the artist has released several albums and performed more than 300 songs. Eldar Ahmedov won the prestigious "Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry" competition three times in 2009, 2011 and 2020. In 2021, the singer was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan.
In addition to his musical activities, Eldar Ahmedov actively acts in films. He has more than 15 films to his credit, in which he not only played the leading roles, but also acted as a composer and producer.
The artist lives in Ashgabat with his family. He has three children - two sons and a daughter.
