President Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Nazar Agahanov as Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan. The head of state signed the corresponding decree during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
According to the document, Nazar Agahanov is relieved of his post as Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations and appointed to the post of Minister. At the same time, Kerimberdi Kurbanov is relieved of his temporary duties as head of the department.
Expressing gratitude for the trust shown, Agahanov assured the head of state that he would make every effort to successfully complete the tasks facing the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations.
