President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed the heads of the created ministries and state services in the sphere of transport and communications. The head of state signed the corresponding decrees during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

According to the document, Mammet Akmammedov was appointed Minister of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan. Begench Annadurdyev took the post of Minister of Automobile Transport. Hajymyrat Hudaygulyev was appointed Minister of Communications of Turkmenistan with a probationary period of six months.

Dovran Saburov became the Chairman of the State Service "Türkmenhowaýollary". Azat Shanazarov was appointed to head the State Service of Maritime and River Transport.

As reported earlier, the President of Turkmenistan abolished the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers and introduced the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for the transport and communications complex.

In order to improve the activities of the transport and communications complex in the country, the Ministry of Railway Transport, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Automobile Transport, the State Service "Türkmenhowaýollary" and the State Service of Maritime and River Transport were established.

The personnel appointments were announced at an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the results of work for the first half of 2025 were summed up.
