Over the course of a year, 630 specialists and workers employed at the concern's enterprises and in the geological exploration expeditions of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" completed advanced training courses at the new training department of the Training Center of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" in Mary. Course participants master modern drilling technologies, natural gas processing methods and gain practical skills in working with the latest equipment.
As the head of the training department, Baymyrat Yagmurov, reported, a practical lesson on modern welding methods, including argon, was recently held at the largest "Galkynysh" deposit. The immediate plans include expanding practical courses at other enterprises in the region.
The educational department of the Educational Center of the State Corporation "Turkmengaz" was opened last year on the basis of the Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Specialized Educational Institution.
