The French Institute in Ashgabat invites you to the screening of the documentary film "The Ballad of Abdul".
The film screening will take place on July 10 at 18:30.
The film will be shown in Russian with English subtitles.
The film's hero is Abdul from Tajikistan. He went to Moscow to earn money to help his family who stayed in their native mountain village in the Pamirs. But by calling, he is a singer. The film follows him as he performs traditional Pamir songs and through them tells about the difficult moments of his life in the Russian capital.
