Recently, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad with a delegation led by the Secretary General of the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC), Senator Ms. Sitara Ayaz.
The parties discussed possible formats for the development of inter-parliamentary relations between Turkmenistan and the IPC, including the organization of joint events, conferences and forums aimed at strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue, exchanging best legislative practices and coordinating efforts to address pressing modern challenges.
Both sides expressed mutual interest in further strengthening ties between the two countries and promoting practical inter-parliamentary cooperation, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
