The Russian music group Ay Yola expressed gratitude to the Turkmen people for their hospitality after performing at the celebrations on the second anniversary of the city of Arkadag.
In their post on social networks, the artists shared vivid impressions of their stay in Turkmenistan:
“Turkmenistan greeted us generously and truly warmly.
We are taking with us not just memories, but a part of your culture - in every pattern, in every detail of these outfits.
Hand embroidery, symbols carefully passed down from generation to generation - this is more than clothes. This is a story told with a needle and thread.
Thank you for this warm welcome!” the musicians wrote on their page.
The concert of the Ay Yola group became one of the highlights of the festive program dedicated to the second anniversary of the city of Arkadag. In addition to Russian artists, artists from Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as Turkmen pop singers performed at the concert.
