Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal beat England's Manchester City 4-3 in extra time in the 1/8 finals of the FIFA Club World Cup. The match took place in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Marcos Leonardo scored twice for Al-Hilal (46th and 112th minutes). Malcom (52nd minute) and Kalidou Koulibaly (94th minute) also scored. Bernardo Silva (9), Erling Haaland (55) and Phil Foden (104) scored for City.
In the quarterfinals, Al-Hilal, led by Simone Inzaghi, will face Brazil's Fluminense. The Brazilian team previously beat Italy's Inter with a score of 2-0. It is noteworthy that Inter is Inzaghi's previous club.
The Club World Championship is being held for the first time with 32 teams participating. The tournament will end on July 13.
