The state commercial bank "Dayhanbank" took first place among the banks of Turkmenistan in the number of issued bank cards. This is evidenced by the data of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan as of June 1, 2025.

According to official statistics, Dayhanbank has issued over 2,1 million bank cards, which allowed it to top the rating of financial institutions in the country. The second position is occupied by the state commercial bank Turkmenistan with an indicator of over 1,1 million cards, and the third position is occupied by the joint-stock commercial bank Halkbank with a result of over 824,5 thousand cards.

A special feature of Dayhanbank's activities is its focus on regional markets. The bank issued the largest number of cards for clients in Mary velayat (638,7 thousand), Dashoguz velayat (527,2 thousand) and Lebap velayat (461,9 thousand).

Unlike the leader of the rating, banks "Turkmenistan" and "Halkbank" concentrated the bulk of their operations in the capital. Thus, in Ashgabat, these banks issued 531,4 thousand and 2457 thousand cards, respectively.

According to the Central Bank, the full ranking of banks in Turkmenistan by the volume of cards issued is as follows:

1. SCBT "Dayhanbank" - 2 128 079 million cards;
2. SCBT “Turkmenistan” – 1 154 707 million;
3. JSCBT "Halkbank" - 824 564 thousand;
4. JSCB Turkmenbashy - 685 427 thousand;
5. JSCB "Senagat" - 514 511 thousand;
6. The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs – 509 317 thousand;
7. JSCB "Rysgal" - 174 254 thousand;
8. Turkmen-Turkish JSB – 141 080 thousand.
