Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ashgabat Stanislav Chepurny, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports.

During the talks, the parties discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Belarusian Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology. Issues of bilateral cooperation within international organizations were also touched upon.

The diplomats paid special attention to the prospects for holding joint events in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
