China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) will serve as a platinum sponsor of the International Forum on Attracting Foreign Investment to Turkmenistan's Energy Sector (TEIF 2025), which will take place on April 23-24 this year in Kuala Lumpur.
TEIF 2025 is a leading platform for strategic dialogue between world leaders, investors, and energy industry representatives. The forum aims to discuss financing opportunities, technological innovations, and key investment priorities in Turkmenistan's energy sector.
CNPC has been operating in Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector since 2002, engaging in field development, oilfield services, and natural gas trading. During this time, China and Turkmenistan have become major trading partners in natural gas.
The company adheres to principles of environmental responsibility and follows the strategy of "clean alternative, strategic replacement, and green development," aiming to achieve "near-zero" carbon emissions by 2050.
Currently, more than 255 delegates from 30 countries have registered to participate in TEIF 2025.
