By the decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, an Interdepartmental Commission was established for the further development of foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan, as well as for the development of draft documents on promoting cooperation with international economic organizations and financial institutions; the composition of the Commission and the Regulation on the Commission were approved.

As reported by TDH, the document was signed in accordance with the tasks set in the Program “Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052” and the “Concept of the Foreign Policy Course of Neutral Turkmenistan for 2022–2028”, and also with the aim of enhancing partnership with international and regional institutions for the further development of Turkmenistan’s foreign economic activity.
