The 3rd Caspian Economic Forum, which brought together representatives of the five Caspian states, has opened in the Iranian capital. Delegates from Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, representing the transport sector, trade organizations, and the business community, are taking part in the event, AZERTAC reports.
The key topics of discussion at the forum were the development of transport cooperation, transit transportation, trade relations and interaction in the banking sector.
The forum program includes a summit meeting - negotiations between the heads of government of the Caspian region countries will take place on February 18.
