Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev invited entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan to take part in the international exhibition dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as in the forum “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan”.The invitation was made during a meeting with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Ashgabat Azizbek Madmarov, where the prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.

The parties paid special attention to the implementation of the decisions of the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, including the creation of a joint Turkmen-Kyrgyz Development Fund.

In turn, the Kyrgyz side took the initiative to organize a business tour for entrepreneurs of the republic to Turkmenistan in April. Ambassador Madmarov also emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the chambers of commerce and industry of both countries.

Following the meeting, representatives of the two states confirmed their intention to maintain regular contacts for the further development of economic partnership.
