President of Turkmenistan congratulates Armenian leadership on Independence Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the leadership of Armenia on the occasion of the republic's Independence Day. The head of the Turkmen state addressed his warm wishes to President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the entire Armenian people. This is stated in the report of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.


In his address, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of friendly and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries based on the principles of mutual respect and trust. He expressed confidence in the further development and strengthening of bilateral ties for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.


The President of Turkmenistan wished the leaders of Armenia good health and happiness, and the Armenian people peace, progress and prosperity.


Armenia's Independence Day is celebrated annually on September 21. The holiday commemorates Armenia's declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. The day is marked by celebrations across the country, including a military parade in the capital Yerevan, concerts, fireworks displays, and public festivities.
