Today in Ashgabat negotiations were held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.
The meeting was held at the capital's Oguzkent Hotel in a narrow format and in an expanded format with the participation of members of delegations.
The parties discussed issues of developing partnership in various directions.
The comprehensive development and strengthening of a multifaceted partnership with the UN is one of the key vectors of the foreign policy of sovereign Turkmenistan, which is invariably committed to the principles of openness, peacefulness and active international cooperation in the common interests, TDH reports.
