Events and creative competitions are also planned on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Eastern thinker and classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the motto of 2024 “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” and the declaration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world.

Work will continue to strengthen international cultural cooperation, restoration, restoration and scientific study of historical and cultural monuments. It is also planned to hold negotiations on organizing Days of Culture of Turkmenistan abroad and Days of Culture of Foreign States in Turkmenistan.

Along with this, it is planned to take measures aimed at strengthening the material and technical base of specialized institutions, improving the skills and computer literacy of employees, and introducing new technologies. Relevant work will be carried out in order to fulfill the tasks arising from state programs and the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy, including multilateral and national nominations to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In addition, various television programs dedicated to important events in the life of Turkmenistan, the successes of the implemented policies and new achievements will be prepared for foreign television viewers.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that this area has a significant role in preserving, studying and popularizing the spiritual values and cultural heritage of the people in the world. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to properly prepare for the events planned for the year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker, as well as to the Week of Culture in the city of Arkadag. The Head of State ordered to keep the implementation of the prepared Work Plans under strict control.
