President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree conferring the military rank of Major General to the head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan Nuryev Yazgeldi Byashimovich, TDH reports.

The corresponding Decree, in accordance with paragraph 15 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, was signed by the head of state during an extended on-site meeting of the State Security Council following the results of 2023.

“To assign the military rank of major general to the head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, Colonel Nuryev Yazgeldi Byashimovich,” the text of the document says.
