The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care continues to provide financial assistance for operations to children from different regions of Turkmenistan, reports the IIC.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, in the multidisciplinary hospital in the city of Arkadag, operations have been performed on two children from Ashgabat and one child from the Balkan velayat, who suffer from spinal diseases.

At the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health, Turkmen doctors performed orthopedic and surgical operations on three children aged 5 to 7 years from Lebap and Dashoguz velayats who suffer from congenital diseases of the diarrheal system.

Specialists from the International Cardiology Center in Ashgabat performed cardiac surgery on three children aged 4-14 years with congenital heart disease from Lebap, Dashoguz and Mary velayats of Turkmenistan.

After the operations, the children feel well, and their parents are satisfied with the results of the treatment, the IIC said in a statement.
