A five-day conference “Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages” (TESOL) opened for the first time today in Ashgabat at the International University of Humanities and Development.
The conference was dedicated to the topic “New technologies for learning languages and innovations in education.”
The forum is attended by 250 English teachers from secondary schools, higher educational institutions and private language centers from all over Turkmenistan. 6 American experts arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the forum.
During the conference, presentations will be given, plenary sessions and master classes on innovative teaching methods will be held.
The forum was organized by the US Embassy in Ashgabat jointly with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
