PETRONAS, through its subsidiary PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. will act as a golden partner of the upcoming XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023”, which will be held on October 25-27 in Ashgabat. The organizers of the event reported this.
The goal of the forum is to strengthen regional dialogue on further sustainable development of the energy sector and attract foreign direct investment in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. has been operating in Turkmenistan for more than 20 years. The company is one of the largest oil and gas producers and also implements social programs aimed at developing local communities.
As part of the OGT-2023 conference, PETRONAS intends to discuss ways of further cooperation with Turkmenistan, including on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and developing renewable energy.
