President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Mikail Jabbarov congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on awarding him the high title of Hero of Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked for the kind words and conveyed his best wishes to the top leadership and people of Azerbaijan.
The parties noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan is developing very dynamically due to the significant potential of the two countries and their readiness for a long-term fruitful partnership.
In particular, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in such areas as energy, transport, agriculture and others.
At the end of the meeting, the parties wished each other good health and prosperity, and the fraternal peoples of the two countries of the world and further prosperity.
