1. TV channel “Big Asia” and the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography signed a partnership agreement, which primarily concerns the exchange of video information. Within the framework of this interaction, “Big Asia” will show issues about Turkmenistan, telling about the history, culture, traditions and successes of the state.
2. The Turkmen film “Gyzyl kurte” directed by Sahysalyh Bayramov has been announced as one of the nominees for the “Best Film of Central Asia” award of the national film award of Kazakhstan “Ak Ilbirs”. The winners will be announced on July 8 at the film awards ceremony.
3. In the Research and Production Center of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, a fine-fiber cotton variety “Yoleten-58” was created through selection. It was obtained by selection from the population of the “Yoloten-42” cotton variety. The weight of a cotton boll of the new variety is 33 grams. Seeds of medium size, light green.
