On May 30, within the framework of the working visit of the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Iran, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of education was signed between the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov and the Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. About this reports the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” today.

As it is known, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi signed a Joint Declaration, which reflects the strategic nature of relations between the two countries and the need for further development of partnership in areas of interest to both sides.

It is reported that following the results of negotiations between Turkmenistan and Iran 5 documents on cooperation in various fields were signed. Among them are a memorandum of understanding between the ministries of energy, a memorandum of cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare between medical universities, a program of cooperation in the field of customs service for 2023-2024, a program of inter-ministerial cooperation for 2023-2024 and other documents.
