The conference dedicated to the exotic nature of the Turkmen Koytendag was held in the Meeting Room of the Lebap Velayat Library.
As per the Jeyhun.news edition, the event was organized by the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Central Council of the Union of Women, the Central Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization and the Hyakimlik of the Lebap velayat.
Within the framework of the conference, reports were heard on the unique natural monuments of Koytendag, their protection and preservation for future generations, on the role of propaganda among the population of respect for the ecology of Koytendag, as well as on the development of tourism.
Moreover, speeches regarding what work is conducted in Turkmenistan on introduction of state national Koytendag reservation into the List of UNESCO World Heritage.
