Azerbaijan Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has been appointed co-chairman of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, reports the “Azeri-Press” agency.
In accordance with the information, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an order to change his order dated June 20, 2007 №2236 “On the composition of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in the economic and humanitarian spheres from the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan was instructed to send the Turkmen side a relevant notification of the changes made to the composition of the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation in the Economic and Humanitarian Spheres between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
Prior to this, the co-chairman of the commission was the first vice-premier of Azerbaijan.
