Today the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the conversation, issues of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, and also international and regional topics of mutual interest.
Highly appreciating the prospects for further building up bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the parties stressed the importance of continuing joint work in such areas as transport, energy, agriculture, notes the source.
