On May 20, customs officers of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan held a video meeting to discuss the Draft Protocol on the exchange of information on the movement of goods in mutual trade between the two countries.
According to the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the parties exchanged proposals and comments on the Draft and discussed further actions to be taken to coordinate the document.
The developing nature of the Turkmen-Uzbek customs relations was noted with satisfaction and the hope for continued cooperation was expressed.
