The youth of Turkmenistan is invited to participate in the international competition "Ambassador of Preventive Diplomacy" -2022 from the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), reports the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The competition aims to highlight the importance of preventive diplomacy in supporting the UN in promoting the peaceful resolution of conflicts in the interests of preserving peace.

Applications are open for participation of young people aged 18 to 29 years’ old who plan to enroll or are already studying at specialized universities in the areas of political science, international relations, international economic relations, law, sociology.

To take part in the competition, you must fill out the application form using the link, write a motivation letter in Russian or English (300-500 words) on the following topics:

• What interested you in the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy?
• How can you be useful for the interregional network of graduates of the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy of Central Asia and Afghanistan?
• Applicants can also record and submit a video of their volunteering experience.

Applications are accepted until January 31, 2022.

It will assess professional profile, awareness of regional and national issues for which preventive diplomacy has played, is or may play a key role, social service and volunteer experience in its community, and creativity.

The selected participants will undergo relevant trainings, after which they will be included in the existing interregional network of graduates of the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy of Central Asia and Afghanistan. They will take part in the events of UNRCCA and other international organizations.
