Today, the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting in the administrative center of Lebap region, in which he heard the reports of head and specialists of fuel and energy complex structures, hyakim of the velayat, and appointed the tasks for the future.

According to the news program of the Turkmen television “Watan”, issues related to futher improving the work of the country’s fuel and energy complex, introducing modern scientific achievements into the industry, and developing international cooperation in this area were discussed during the meeting.

As mentioned before, the reveal and industrial development of new oil and gas fields, full satisfaction of domestic demand for relevant products and increasing the export potential of the oil and gas industry is in the priority.

In addition, the importance of the entering of new modern systems to fuel and energy complex structures, based on foremost technological elaborations, and also following of the ecological standards, were underlined.

The President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out to approach comprehensively the issues of training professionals in the field of geological exploration, production and processing of hydrocarbons. With these purposes it is necessary to enter new methods and “know-how” into the studying processes of professional high educational institutions, hold it with the international standards and using of modern practical earns, taking an attention of foreign countries.

The importance of further partnership development in the sphere of oil and gas with National Republic of China were underlined during the meeting.

The head of state focused on the implementation of a number of important projects of global importance, identifying among them a gas compressor station at the “Malay” field, which is important in supplying Turkmen natural gas to the “Turkmenistan-China” transnational gas pipeline.
