During the congress of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) in Tashkent, countries were announced that in the coming years will host world championships of various age categories. Sports.uz reports. According to the results of the event, the hosts of the upcoming competitions were:
2023 year:
- World Championship among juniors - Albania;
- World Youth Championship - Mexico;
- World champion among adults - Saudi Arabia.
2024 year:
- World Championship among juniors - Peru;
- World Youth Championship - Spain.
2025 year:
- World Championship among adults - Norway.
